BULGARIAN ROSE PERFUME ESSENCE in TRADITIONAL WOODEN CONTAINER

The vintage wooden perfume bottle is hand painted and decorated with wood burned pyrography. There is a traditional Bulgarian design, hand painted on both sides. The lid contains a glass perfume vial, which contains natural rose oil essence. It is a transparent colorless liquid with the specific aroma of the Bulgarian Rosa Damascena renown all over the world.
The traditional wooden vials were originally carried together with the larger vessels for rose oil when a trader transported his precious oil to sell it abroad. He could demonstrate the quality of the oil using the vial and prove the quality of his expensive rose oil.
