Bulgarian Communist Army Mine Detector "MT66"

We are offering Bulgarian Communist Army Mine detector "MT66" from the Cold War years. It is intended for detecton of anti - infantry and anti - tank mines at 10-20 cm/4-8inches depth.
Detector can be used for finding of all kind of metal objects. Work frequency: 2500 Hz
Supplied with a round battery 4,5V, USSR standard type- diameter 20 mm, length: 172 - 177. The devce can also work with 3 flat batteries x 4,5V, included in set.

The working of the mine detector is based on the principle of the electromagnetic field deformation by metal objects. The detecting head must be hold paralell with the surface. By swiching the headphones you will hear sound with frequency range of 2500 Hz. There is a cap under which are placed two regulating buttons for sound clarifying.
You may check the good working order by means of metal testing lamella. When the main sound is heard the device is ready.
